With sports screens for big game days, there's a bar area catering to none diners or those who just fancy a nibble. The menu is strewn with classic, nose-to-tail options; like Angus marrow pie, calves liver and bone marrow onion marmalade. Other signature dishes include haddock and chips with mushy peas and the Lunch Platter (scotch egg, Montgomery cheddar, cold cuts, apple and celery). D&A also feature a Roast of the Day, varying from; Black leg chicken, bread sauce, sage and onion stuffing, to pot roast shoulder of lamb and red currant jelly. Desserts like, nostalgic Knickerbocker Glory and bread and butter pudding with custard take no prisoners and if this all seems a little overwhelming, there are some salad options (pfff)….
